– MLB Advanced Media and Boingo are combining to offer four-hour packages of mobile video for live playoff baseball and archived games to folks waiting around in select airports.

– PlayerSearch, a product of Advanced Sports Media, is one of 10 finalists in the BOSS Mashable Challenge. The competition asks developers to build the best application on Yahoo! Search’s new BOSS open-source API. Voting is open until Oct. 12.
