Jason Bateman’s Current Addiction: Fantasy Baseball
In a Star Magazine story posted Wednesday, actor Jason Bateman says that he has replaced his former addictive party-going ways with the far less health-threatening but no less addictive fantasy baseball.
Specifically, Bateman plays in a league that includes TV sports and news talking head Keith Olbermann.
“We go to Dodgers games and [Keith] spends the entire time keeping score, not saying a word,” Bateman told Star. “It’s perfect.”
According to this interview from last October, Olbermann and Bateman compete in a National League-only fantasy league that also includes actor David Cross. Here, the two work their way into a bit of fantasy talk during an interview on Olbermann’s MSNBC show. (They don’t make it to the baseball, though, until nearly the 3-minute mark.)
Come on, kid. Try fantasy sports. Everybody’s doing it.
